Welcome to Lea Bella Diaries
I'm so pleased you're here!
I want to introduce this section of my blog to you - this is my online personal diary. Open for all to read! My blog was always meant to be similar to a diary but when I realised I could turn my love for travel into something useful and to help people (and earn money from), the diary style writing on my blog took a step back whilst my blog posts became slightly more formal and with the intention of helping people out when travelling.
As much as I have loved my blog and love receiving feedback from people who have visited my website or watched my travel vlogs on YouTube, I wanted somewhere to really express myself, and be more than just a travel blogger in my online space. I am so much more than that and my interests are much more varied. I love the world and all the issues, good and bad, that go with it. I also love to cook and bake. I love to read. I love fashion and experimenting with skincare routines (especially now I'm 30, haha). So Lea Bella Diaries will be the space for all of the extra bits away from travel (mostly, although travel is a huge part of my life so not promising no travel talk here at all...), and general chit chats about what's going on in life and somewhere for me to throw down my thoughts.
Speaking of life, this year has been heavy hasn't it. It's not even just about the coronavirus anymore - there has been so many other disasters and injustices that have really effected everyone all over the world. I don't think that in my lifetime I have ever witnessed such a mass depression amongst the majority of the population. Everyone I speak to in my personal life are all feeling similar to me; mostly deflated, kinda anxious with a sense of "what's coming next?". I see the same on social media, everyone's captions are the same no matter how upbeat and positive that person or account usually is.
As much as I don't want this post to turn into a Danny Downer, I also think it's important to write exactly how things are at the moment, from my perspective, so I can look back on these posts and appreciate the hardships as well as the good times. After all, life can't always be sunshine and fluffy bunnies - I wish it was!
Thank you so much for reading this post, if you want to, join in below with some questions or just general chat feel free to leave a comment - I will get back to you :)
See you in the next post
